During the intra-school competition, students auditioned and showcased their talents to a panel of judges composed of Globe representatives and school officials. Only the top entries were picked by the judges to move on to the second round of screening, where the students themselves chose their school’s representative for the inter-school competition via text.

Last September 1, we closed the text voting phase and declared the schools’ representatives. All the schools’ representatives would compete against each other in a month-long text voting period (September 1 to October 1), and on October 2, 2010 the U-Belt Got Talent Grand Finals will feature the universities’ best talents in one grand show!

On October 2, 2010, at the Adamson University Theater (7:00 PM to 10:00 PM), the U-Belt’s stars will shine as they showcase their talents to determine the first Grand Champion of U-Belt Got Talent! Criteria is as follows:

Talent (30%), Costume/Appearance (10%), Representation of the brand equity of Globe Prepaid (10%), and Student Text Votes (50%).

The judges will be 1 Globe representative, and 2 celebrity judges, including the one and only Vice Ganda!

The prizes for the winning groups are:

First prize: P30,000
Second prize: P20,000
Third prize: P10,000

For the winning schools:

First prize: P15,000
Second prize: P10,000
Third prize: P5,000

To vote for your favorite school, just type SCHOOL CODE [space] and send to 2948 (P2.50 per text).
