Pinoy HangARoo
HangARoo was one of the most addictive Flash games a few years ago. It was a simple game of Hangman where you had to save the life of a kangaroo throwing insults at you. The game, though, was made for an American audience; some of us were not familiar with some categories in HangARoo, like TV shows and US national heroes.
Thanks to Macuha.com, there’s now a HangARoo game exclusively for the Filipino audience. Pinoy HangARoo is an all-Filipino adaptation of the online Flash game that we all know and love. Instead of the foreign clues and answers available in the traditional HangARoo, Pinoy HangARoo now has a set of answers based on Pinoy culture, events, showbiz, places, and sports.
The same rules still apply for Pinoy HangARoo. You need to clear 10 levels, where you guess a word included in one of many categories. You can take a chance at clearing the level by guessing letters, although you’re only allowed four mistakes for every level. Once you cleared all 10 levels, you have saved the kangaroo, and you win the game. If you fail, though, the kangaroo falls through the gallows, and you lose the game. And not surprisingly, watching the Kangaroo hang feels oddly satisfying.
