Check Out What’s Buzzing At Google Buzz

If you opened your GMail account today, you may have noticed a new Google App ready for you to play around with. Google Buzz is a new social application that allows you to share status messages, microblogs, sites, and conversations with your friends and contacts in your Google directory. It’s built a lot like Plurk, Twitter, and Facebook only that it’s built right into GMail.

For those of you who are familiar with microblogging services, Google Buzz should be quick and easy to learn. You can start threads by adding new posts on your Google Buzz timeline. Posts can include everything from short messages, websites, pictures, and even video links. Like its predecessor, Google Wave, Google Buzz allows people in your contact list to respond to your posts.

Google Buzz integrates itself with many other social applications to make sharing easier. You can integrate your Twitter, Picasa, and Flickr accounts with Google Buzz. You can even link your Blogger/Blogspot site to Google Buzz to make sharing blog posts easier. The new features of Google Buzz make it easier for you to interact with your friends online, without ever having to leave GMail.

There are some kinks with Google Buzz (such as privacy issues and interface, more issues here), but many people are going to like the new social service brought to you by Google. You need full browsing capabilities to enjoy Google Buzz. With the high speeds and reliable connection of Globe Tattoo, you can take Google Buzz to new heights.
