Nonito Donaire, Jr. is considered one of the top "Pound for Pound" boxers in the world—a champ with five world titles across three divisions. His professional record boasts 27 wins (with 18 KOs) and 1 loss.

Nicknamed "The Filipino Flash" because of his remarkable speed, Nonito is also known for his skill and power as a fighter, which have brought him WBC and WBO Bantamweight World Champion titles, the IBF Flyweight World Champion title, and other recognitions like being the Gabriel Elorde Boxer of the Year for three consecutive years (2009, 2010 and 2011). He was even featured in the popular video game "Fight Night Round 4".

Nonito was born in Bohol and spent his childhood in General Santos City, South Cotabato. His family moved to the United States when he was 10 years old. His brother Glenn, who is three years his senior, was the first to enter amateur boxing. The trophies that his brother brought home inspired him to get into the sport when he was 11 years old. Their father, who had no prior experience training boxers, trained them.

As an amateur, Nonito won three national championships in the US: National Silver Gloves in 1998, National Junior Olympics in 1999 and the National USA Tournament in 2000. He also won the International Junior Olympics in 1999. His amateur record was 68-8 with 5 TKOs.

The Filipino Flash, even from the start has trained hard to rise above the rest in the sport of boxing. Now he continues his resistance against mediocrity, as ambassador for the new line of better, faster Tattoo Prepaid Sticks.
